Want to Watch Your Phillies During the Coronavirus Outbreak? No Problem!

COVID-19 has shut down nearly every aspect of life all around the U.S, but what if you get your Phillies fever during the shutdown? No problem! On YouTube, MLB Network, and NBC Sports Philadelphia, anyone can find loads of Phillies classics.

First off, there is the MLB Vault YouTube channel, where people can find not only Phillies classic ballgames, but also games of every team in the majors. You will find the Phillies vs. Braves NLCS game six from 1993, as well as many others.

The Phillies and MLB YouTube channels have been airing more recent ballgames live the past week and will continue to do so as long as this lockdown continues. This past Thursday the Phillies aired the Cubs at Phillies from August 15th, 2019, in which Bryce Harper hits his famous walk-off grand slam. Keep checking there for non-stop baseball action.

On MLB Network, they show classic games almost every day. A couple weeks ago they put on the Phillies at Cubs from May of 1979, in which the Phillies won in 10 innings, 23-22. MLB Network is a great place for all baseball fans, showing classic games for teams all over the MLB.

NBC Sports Philadelphia is probably the best place to stop for Phillies classics. This week they replayed Roy Halladay’s perfect game, and today they replayed Cole Hamel’s no hitter. Each week, they’ll always have two to three classic Phillies games on during the outbreak.

And last of course is MLB.tv. Normally, you’d have to pay to watch games on MLB.tv, but now due to COVID-19, they are now showing games from 2018-19 on demand for free. All you have to do is sign in to your MLB account. During the season MLB.tv airs the out-of-market MLB games, so if you would like to pay, a subscription would be worth-while.

MLB.tv is a great place to stop if you want to catch your Phillies for free!

So there are actually lots of places to stop by to satisfy your Phillies fix. Any waiting feels shorter when you’re watching Phillies baseball, so get your remote, phone, or computer and tune on in! The 2020 season will be here before you know it.
