What Philadelphia needs at wide receiver the most is speed, and I have the perfect player for that.
Craig Rucker, a 5’7 175-pound receiver out of Mars Hill, is an absolute burner. Craig has Tyreek Hill speed and release while showing it on tape.
When you watch the top wide receivers in this class such as Jerry Jeudy, Ceedee Lambs, and Tee Higgins, they lack one thing elite speed. With this being said, I am not saying Craig is better than these top prospects. However, Craig and Henry Ruggs are the two fastest receivers in this draft. Why is this a perfect fit for the Eagles?
When Doug Peterson got Desean Jackson last offseason, he built an offense that centered around him. When he was injured, everything went wrong. Rucker is a deep threat just like Jackson and, might I add, a way younger and cheaper option.
Craig will be a higher UDFA on team lists, and it wouldn’t hurt to add world-class speed to Philadelphia.
